This time, it’s hard to find an alternative product. The only sensible proposition may be an inward opening system. It gives better functional properties, higher thermal efficiency and is at least 15% cheaper.
When to consider casement systems from other manufacturers? It is only profitable when we have to buy a few windows for narrow rooms, e.g. to the attic, to our investment.

Again, it’s also very hard to find an alternative proposal. Yawal TM74HI OUTWARD is second in the table.
It is slightly warmer. The Uw lower by 0.1. However, it is much more expensive. A test kit based on Yawal costs 50% more.

How did the inward opening system come out?
In the quality category, the Aluprof MB-70 set is at the forefront. It obtained 14.5 points. the same as the set from Cortizo. However, it is slightly warmer. The inward opening system also has a 2-3 weeks shorter production time, which can be crucial in some cases.

In the comparison of aluminium windows outward opening in the “quality / price” category, Cortizo Casement 70mm turned out to be the best.
By winning the quality and price category, Cortizo has secured itself the leading position also in the quality / price category.
The Cortizo system is the most user-friendly (easy to clean), the cheapest, and also has the lowest frame and window fold.
Importantly, it is not a compromise, but a certain win in this category. It is rare to win by more than 1.5 points.
The second place for the Aliplast Imperial system is the result of a fairly good price and the average system capabilities.
It is not suitable for use by elderly people or people with health problems. Windows are not easy to clean, which significantly reduces the comfort of use.
The third place goes to Yawal, which presents the best thermal insulation parameters. However, the price of this system leaves much to be desired.
It is the most expensive of the presented systems. A very big disadvantage when choosing this system is also the ultra-long waiting time for the order completion of 13-15 weeks. Make sure to inform your client about it.

How did the inward opening system come out?
The set with Aluprof MB-70 wins the quality / price category. The system not only offers a lower price than casement windows, but is easier to maintain and use, and has better thermal insulation parameters.

There is only one winner of this ranking. Cortizo Casement 70mm with the lowest fold of 65 mm outclasses its rivals. No other casement system will provide your client’s rooms with this amount of light.
The second place goes to Aluprof MB-70 casement with a fold of 104 mm. This is a 60% higher system than in the case of Cortizo!
In this case, the compared Aluprof MB-70 system (opening to the center) is also far back with a fold that is 50% larger (93mm).

The warmest aluminium casement windows is Yawal TM74HI OUTWARD
The warmest system among casement-type aluminum windows is YawalTM74HI OUTWARD. Looking at the energy-saving trend and the result of Uw = 1.7, the best result leaves much to be desired. Interestingly, this result is the same as in the case of the inward opening Aluprof MB-70, which is 70% cheaper.
The second place among casement windows is occupied by Cortizo Casement 70mm and Aliplast Imperial OUT. We have the result Uw = 1.8. See the graphic below. You can easily check that the choice of these systems is profitable.
At the end of the rating we have the Aluprof MB-70 Casement systems with Uw = 2.1 and Ponzio PE68HI (openings to the outside) Uw = 2.2, this is a very poor result causing much higher costs of heating / cooling rooms. You can choose these types of systems only in moderate climates, where there are no harsh winters and hot summers.

How it is important in practice?
We checked how it can translate into real savings for your clients. There are many energy calculators available on the web – we used the one at www.oszczednydom.pl.
For the test set of windows with an area of approx. 20 m2, differences at the level of 0.01-0.05 bring savings of a dozen or so zlotys per year (!). From an economic point of view, this is not a significant difference. The money spent on a more expensive system with a Uw warmer of 0.05 will probably never pay off.
The situation is different if you have a tender requirement with a clearly defined heat transfer coefficient for the windows. Only for this need, we present a list of the warmest window systems with price and score.
Ranking of manufacturers – reliability of suppliers
All the window suppliers on our list represent a solid level of production and technical support.
Utilizing our experience, we assessed each system in the ranking of aluminium lift and slide windows in terms of the quality of the assembly plant of the finished product. Even the best system, assembled by a poor manufacturer, will be of mediocre quality. We considered two aspects:
- Reliability and repeatability of the manufacturer – tells us about the reliability, perfection and stability of the supplier
- Quality of service and after-sales support – with an assessment of what the supplier’s support looks like at the stage when the product has already left the production line.
Price quotation time.
Cortizo Casement 70mm is the best producer in terms of pricing. We can expect a valuation based on this system after 24 hours. Aluprof MB-70 windows that open inwards have the same result.
In the case of other systems, it is even 2-3 or even 4-5 working days. This is mainly due to the low sales of this type of windows in Poland. Usually, profiles for such a construction must be treated “separately”, due to their shortages in the storeroom.

Casement systems are very demanding when it comes to stock levels, as we have already mentioned above. This, of course, affects the time of production. We will wait 7-8 weeks for casements. Despite the fact that Cortizo Casement 70mm is produced a week longer, it is worth waiting for.
In the case of Yawala TM 74HI OUTWARD, the waiting time for production is very long (13-15 weeks). Take this into account when your customer would like to choose this system.

How did the inward opening system come out?
Do you want to close the construction site quickly? Your client would like to enjoy their new home a few weeks earlier? When your client does not care about a lower frame and sash assembly, the Aluprof MB-70 will be an excellent alternative. Such a set of windows will arrive at the construction site 2-3 weeks earlier than casement windows.

In our comparison, we evaluate the quality of finished aluminium casement windows. The entire finished product and its quality include, among others:
