When a window supplier is wasting your time…

– I’ve been in the business for over 30 years, and there have always been issues with windows suppliers – says Waldemar, the owner of WW Building company. During our business consultation, we talked about his company problems, needs, and challenges. 

One of the biggest worries of Waldemar was the lack of time. As the owner of a small company, he is working directly on the job site during the day and also managing the company in the evenings. Instead of taking resting and growing his business, he was spending hours searching for reliable suppliers.

Waldemar was looking for a reliable window supplier for a high-standard single-family house. He wanted to import windows from Poland but his experience with one of Polish windows suppliers was bad to say the least. That manufacturer didn`t handle windows delivery and wasted a lot of Waldemar`s time.

Project requirements: high quality at affordable prices

The project ordered by WW Building`s investor was for a single-family house of high standard. During our conversation Waldemar informed me that:

  • he needs high-quality windows at an affordable price,
  • timeliness is important to him as well as taking care of everything by debesto,
  • a crucial project requirement is ventilation in every window, even for the sliding patio doors,
  • the project includes glass facade design,
  • all the windows and patio doors must be in the same color (a color match of PVC to aluminum for aesthetic consistency).

The Solution: the appearance of aluminum with the benefits of PVC

The single-family house project required the premium look of aluminum. But the challenge was to find a window system at an affordable price point that can represent a luxury design. 

Together with Jakub Chwałek – a debesto technologist, we recommended uPVC windows with a minimalist, aluminum look.  We specifically went with the  Aluplast  Ideal Neo PVC windows for Waldemar, because they stylistically mimic aluminum. That also paired nicely with large Aluprof MB-86 Foldline aluminum sliding patio doors. 

Instead of a facade system, we used the Aluprof MB-79N warm aluminum windows, perfectly matching in color and had a glass facade look. Waldemar could meet project requirements and an easier installation process for his fitters than it would be with a facade system.
