The challenge
The owner of the company wanted to carry out a project of rebuilding part of his own house. The investor provided sample photos and drawings of the structure. It turned out that the project concerns the terrace development. Presentation of the optimal variant
Due to the nature of the investment, Paweł advised the choice of Aluprof MB-86 folding doors. It was important that the structure opened in opposite directions. Thanks to this, the investor obtained a large open space. To get more space under the roof, the structure was folding outwards. Our consultant suggested the use of a 2-pane packet because the investor needed a basic level of thermal insulation. As a result, the price of the product was significantly reduced.
After checking the dimensions again, changes were made to the structure in order to obtain the assembly in accordance with the design assumptions. The use of angular connectors and widening was used to fill the free space and obtain a uniform and aesthetic appearance. Inter-pane muntins have been added to the glazing units so that the glazing matches those that were previously installed in the main building. The final stage of preparing the offer was to select the appropriate model and configure the exterior doors so that their color and appearance would correspond to the sliding systems.
