The conditions at the installation site determine the dimensions for delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The impact of solar radiation is significant, especially for constructions with long, undivided glass panes. Due to thermal expansion, dividing these structures into smaller elements is advised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PVC material reacts notably to temperature changes. A meter of white PVC profile can expand by 7mm (0.276 inches) with a 10\u00b0C (50\u00b0F) temperature difference. For colored profiles, the expansion might be double, given the surface temperature difference can reach \u0394T = 60\u00b0C (140\u00b0F) in summer compared to 30\u00b0C (86\u00b0F) for white profiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For windows subjected to significant structural loads from wind forces, using additional elements to improve the window\u2019s strength properties, known as static connectors, is necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"types-of-window-connectors\">Types of window connectors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Window connectors enable the connection of at least two windows, sliding doors, or the integration of several systems into a single entity. Connectors are categorized into two types: static and non-static.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Non-static connectors, which do not contain steel, are designated for smaller window sets, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>White constructions up to 7 m\u00b2 (approximately 75.35 ft\u00b2),<\/li><li>Colored constructions up to 5-6 m\u00b2 (approximately 53.8 to 64.6 ft\u00b2), due to their profiles heating up more quickly,<\/li><li>Constructions that are wide but do not exceed a height of 1500 mm (approximately 59 inches),<\/li><li>Constructions that are tall but do not exceed a width of 1500 mm (approximately 59 inches).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the non-static connectors, dovetail connectors \u2014 also known as teardrop connectors \u2014 are notable for being the only type not visible on the profile&#8217;s surface. To connect a set, two pieces are required. In such cases, the structure must accommodate not only wind loads but also vibrations from frequent use. It&#8217;s important to highlight that static connectors, in contrast to their non-static counterparts, protrude significantly from the profile&#8217;s surface. Examples include a 9 mm (approximately 0.35 inches) static connector, potentially with single or double steel filling for optimal PVC reinforcement, and a 21 mm (approximately 0.83 inches) static connector. The addition of steel filling enhances the static value of the connectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"installation-od-window-with-static-connector\">Installation of a window with a static connector &#8211; instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure the safe bearing of forces acting on the structure, the static reinforcement used to stiffen the connection must be securely attached to the structure.
