class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Our customer Christopher had an interesting project with a historic residence in Brooklyn. Brooklyn is known for its unique historical significance, however, <strong>tight budget and tight timeliness together with preservation commissioner requirements were challenging<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was searching for a solution and fortunately, his architect friend recommended he work with debesto. &#8211; My trust in debesto was reinforced after speaking with another architect who was very satisfied with the products &#8211; says Christopher. We recommended using <a href=\"https:\/\/debesto.com\/en\/windows\/products\/window-aluprof-mb-86\/\">thermally broken aluminum tilt and turn windows with grilles Aluprof MB-86<\/a> (concealed sash). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That way Chris could meet historical look regulations and also have high-standard operable European windows.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #3: aluminum, steel-look window<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of expensive steel windows, use narrow-frame aluminum windows in color that mimic steel.<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"blockquote blockquote__with-img\">\n\t\t\t<figure >\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\"  src=\"https:\/\/cdn.debesto.com\/web\/assets\/2023\/12\/06090745\/agata-toczek-round.jpg\" data-src=\"https:\/\/cdn.debesto.com\/web\/assets\/2023\/12\/06090745\/agata-toczek-round.jpg\" alt=\"Agata Toczek debesto technologist\"\/>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<div class=\"blockquote__outline\">\n\t\t<i class=\"blockquote__icon icon-quotation-mark\"><\/i>\n\t\t<p><p>For this window project we recommended a hidden sash to increase the effect of a modern, narrow window.
